Blumaroos love to bounce on their tails. They are joyful creatures who are often seen hopping through the tropics of Neopia whistling happy tunes.

Blumaroos look like kangaroos, reminiscent of the popular Winnie the Pooh character, Tigger, and were first introduced on May 10, 2001. They have long, floppy tongues, strong tails to kick on, a long, tapir-like face and heart-shaped feet and pads. They are generally fun-loving creatures who like nothing better than a festival or to bounce around while singing cheery tunes. This explains the somewhat carnival-like appearance of their native home, Roo Island.

It is said that Blumaroos love nachos. In the game "Dice-a-roo," they play the main neopet, with the catchphrase "A passing blumaroo says, tra la la!"

 Famous blumaroos are King Roo, AAA, Count Von Roo, "Count" Boris and Commander Garoo.

In the Neopets TCG, Blumaroos are associated with the element of air. As of June 2007, the Blumaroo is ranked 35th out of 50+ species, with over 2.3 million created.  August 8th is Blumaroo Day.
